§Provider

01Scope

These Terms of Service apply to the use of the mobile app Stille — Meditation Timer. By downloading and using the app, you accept these terms.

02Services

The Stille app offers the following features:

• Meditation timer with bell sound (default 10/20/30 minutes, freely adjustable)
• Reliable gong even when the display is off (native Android integration)
• Breathing exercises (4-7-8, Box Breathing, 2-4) with calming animation
• Guided meditations (five themes, in German, English and Turkish; recommended minimum timer length: 10 minutes)
• Ambient sounds during meditation (five soundscapes: rain, breath of fire, Tibetan singing bowl, whales & ocean, forest & birds) with gentle fade-out before the gong
• "Good Night" section with three short stories and optional links to external Spotify playlists (see § 07)
• Mood tracking before and after sessions
• Statistics area with badge system (eight milestones), weekly overview and reset function
• Daily reminder function via the device's local notification system
• Meditation guide with ten chapters covering foundations, posture, breathing technique, working with thoughts, tips for beginners and advanced practitioners, and the science of mindfulness
• Dark mode and multilingual support (German, English, Turkish)

04Subscription and Payment

Subscriptions and the lifetime purchase are processed as an in-app purchase via Google Play. Google is the contractual partner for payment processing. Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Billing occurs through the account linked to Google Play.

Cancellation is possible at any time through Google Play settings. After cancellation, access remains until the end of the paid period.

The lifetime purchase grants permanent access to all features without further payments.

05Refunds

As purchases are processed as in-app purchases via Google Play, refunds are handled according to Google Play policies. Within 48 hours of purchase, a refund can be requested directly through Google Play. For requests beyond that period, please contact info@labellevieevents.de — we will review such cases individually in coordination with Google.

06Data Storage

All user data from the core features is stored exclusively on the device. None of this data is transmitted to the provider's servers. See our Privacy Policy for details.

07Third-Party Services (Spotify)

In the "Good Night" section, the app contains optional links to external Spotify playlists. These links are not part of our service — we merely provide access to publicly available third-party content.

Tapping a Spotify link will take you out of our app. From that point on, the terms of use and privacy policy of Spotify (Spotify AB, Sweden) apply.

Playback of Spotify content requires your own Spotify account. Spotify Premium may be required for unrestricted playback. We accept no liability for the availability, content, features or costs of Spotify services. We are not a contractual partner of Spotify and have no business relationship with that company.

08Disclaimer

The app is intended solely to support personal meditation and relaxation. It does not replace medical or psychological treatment. For health issues, please consult a doctor or therapist.

The provider is not liable for damages arising from the use or non-use of the app.

09Changes to Terms

The provider reserves the right to change these terms at any time. Users will be informed of significant changes. Continued use of the app constitutes acceptance of the changed terms.

10Applicable Law

German law applies. Place of jurisdiction is Velbert, Germany.
